Our Director Martina Stanley was recently asked by the RSCA to give a presentation to the Australian New Zealand Medical Recruiters Association  (AMRANZ) on the topic of Telehealth.

Telehealth has been around for decades but rarely used however due to the global pandemic COVID-19, telehealth has quickly become relied upon to continue to provide health services around the world. Doctors, practice, software companies and the government have been able to implement telehealth into everyday practice in a matter of weeks.

This has seen a range of outcomes for General Practices, such as lower revenue however it has also saved the government money in relation to Medicare spending.

Please see below the full presentation slides by Martina Stanley, discussing whether Telehealth will be our saviour or a grim reaper for the future of medicine.
