Sexual and Reproductive Health GP

The practice is looking for a GP with a special interest in Sexual and Reproductive Health. The service is providing some of the following services and would be looking for a GP who is willing to contribute to some of the following:

• Women’s health services: information and clinical services to women regarding all forms of contraception, including Long-acting reversible contraceptives (LARC), Depo Provera., intrauterine devices (IUD’s), and Implanon insertion and removal
• Medical termination of pregnancy
• Sexual health testing, treatment and support (chlamydia, gonorrhoea, syphilis etc)
• Hepatitis B and C testing, treatment and care
• HPV vaccination
• Gender Affirming Hormone Therapy prescription and management.
• Awareness of / established relationship with providers for surgical options and referrals for transition support

About The Role

• 75% of billings
• $160 per hour guarantee for the first 3 months
• Flexible Contracts – school hours may be available
• The ideal candidate would either hold or be willing to complete:
  • Hepatitis B training
  • LARC training
  • MTOP training, preferably with sonography quals
  • Implanon training
