Martina Stanley
Martina has been involved with medical workforce issues since 1996 when she established an organisation to coordinate recruitment and support for 750 postgraduate medical positions each year. Martina has worked as a senior manager and healthcare consultant for more than 20 years in Australia and New Zealand. Her career started in vocational education and training. More recently she has been actively involved in advocacy on medical workforce issues and current implementation of workforce issues. She also sits on the board of a large private hospital. She has also spent many years living and working in developing countries around the world like Africa and Papua New Guinea.

Monique Giron
Monique has a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Western Australia. As co-founder of Alecto Monique has now spent more than 10 years recruiting GPs to jobs across the country. Monique enjoys the challenges of growing Alecto and getting to know her candidates and clients. Monique directs the marketing finance operations for Alecto, her passion lies with finding new business opportunities. These days Monique loves spending time with her sons and enjoying the outdoors relaxed lifestyle that Perth offers.

Megan Lewis
Business Consultant & Registration Manager
Megan is responsible for the registration and relocation of our medical candidates. In this role, she works daily with regulatory bodies such as RACGP, AHPRA, and Medicare. Megan also assists with the management of our consulting projects across primary health care. Megan has a Bachelor in International Relations and a Graduate Certificate of International Business from Deakin University. She is also a member of the Australian Institute of International Affairs and a councillor for AMRANZ. She has previously worked in the Workers Compensation Industry which involved liaising with injured workers. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, writing and going to the gym.

Paula Dennison
Senior Recruitment Consultant
Paula is originally from the UK but migrated to Perth with her family in 2006. Paula has worked in the recruitment sector for over 20 years, she has specialised across various industries, including executive search and outplacement and for the past few years has focused on medical recruitment. For the last decade, Paula has been consulting at a senior level working with clients and candidates helping them fulfill career opportunities. Outside of work, Paula enjoys long walks on the beach with her two dogs and spending time with her family.

Paola Rios
Recruitment Administrator
Paola is originally from Colombia but migrated to Australia in 2015. Before relocating to Melbourne in 2020, she worked in the migration industry in Perth. Her legal background and experience in migration enable her to provide general insights to doctors migrating to Australia. She has a Bachelor of Laws and a Graduate Diploma of intellectual property law from The University of Melbourne. She is responsible for coordinating our GP locum program and is also provides essential support to our recruitment team. In her spare time, she loves cycling, attending musical events and camping with friends and family.

Máire Haughey
Senior Client Relationship Manager
Máire is originally from Ireland but has lived and worked between the UK, Ireland and Australia during the last 20 years. She has a BA (Hons) degree in European Business Administration and French. Before joining Alecto, Máire spent 18 years working in health care, namely the Medical Device Industry as a Business Development Manager. Outside of work, Máire’s passions are spending time with her family & friends, travelling and likes to keep active via running and yoga.

Christina Panayi
Christina has a Bachelor of Psychology from Deakin University and a Human Resources qualification through Swinburne University. Christina has Practice Management experience within General Practice which enables her to provide unique insights when assisting with consulting projects. Christina is also involved in our recruitment operations, helping clients to find the right medical professional for their team. In her spare time she likes eating out with friends and spending time with her dog Django.

Christina is currently on maternity leave.
