We’re looking for GPs in Melbourne specialising in paediatrics, for a unique urgent care GP job. Our client is operating a hospital-integrated urgent care GP role based within the Emergency Department of the leading Children’s Hospital in Melbourne. If you’ve been searching for urgent care GP Jobs in Melbourne or paediatric GP jobs, this is one of the few roles that puts you inside a tertiary children’s hospital rather than a stand-alone clinic.

Unlike most urgent care GP jobs in Melbourne, this role works closely with the Emergency Department and specialises in paediatric presentations, with exceptional support from paediatricians and the ED team. Every child is triaged by hospital nursing staff before being directed to see the GP, with Urgent Care GPs seeing Category 4 and 5 presentations only.

Site Hours & Shift Structure

Ongoing afternoon and evening shifts are currently available, 2–3 times per week, with flexibility around which days you work.

Current shift: 4:30pm – 10:30pm
