Our Direct Advertising & Advisory Support Package is designed for General Practices looking to advertise GP roles on our website and have us handle the vetting of all applicants on your behalf. If you prefer to find candidates outside of our platform, we can still assist by vetting those GPs for you.

In addition to vetting, we will provide advisory support on registration, compliance, and any challenges that may arise during the recruitment process. Our goal is to streamline everything for you, making recruitment faster and more efficient so you can focus on your practice.

Package Inclusions

  • Market Intelligence on GP Remuneration: Leverage our comprehensive knowledge and insights into the current GP market, ensuring your offers are competitive and appealing to the right candidates.
  • Professional Job Advertisement Creation: We will craft a compelling and professionally written job advertisement, tailored to attract GPs and other practice staff (e.g., nurses, practice managers) with the desired expertise, thereby saving your team valuable time and effort.
  • Enhanced Job Exposure: Benefit from the strong search engine ranking of the Alecto Australia website. Your job ad will be strategically positioned to maximize visibility among GPs and other practice staff actively searching for new opportunities. You can advertise anonymously to maintain privacy if needed. Additionally, in the coming two weeks, we will introduce an enhanced search function for locum roles, featuring a calendar view that will further improve site usability for job seekers.
  • Access to a Broad GP Network: Your vacancy will be featured (once over 3 months) in our “Hot Jobs” newsletter, reaching a targeted audience of over 1,000 GPs. This increases your chances of finding a well-suited candidate quickly.
  • Pre-Screening of Applicants: Our experienced team will screen all incoming GP applications, verifying AHPRA registration and conducting preliminary background checks. This process ensures you receive only the most qualified candidates, saving you time in the recruitment process. If you receive applications from other sources, such as SEEK, we can provide the same screening process by simply forwarding the CV to us.
  • Build the Profile of Your Practice: Your ad will feature the name of your practice, photos, a direct link to your website, and a map showing the location – giving candidates all the information they want at their fingertips. Strong Google reviews for your practice can also be prominently displayed in the ad. (If you prefer, there is also an option to remain anonymous, ensuring your privacy needs are fully respected)
  • Flexibility in Advertising Roles: The package includes up to four job ads for your practice, allowing a mix of locum and permanent roles for various positions (including nurses, practice managers, and other support staff). These can be advertised over the 3-month period.
  • Advisory Support on 19AB Exemptions and Registration Pathways: Our registration team is available throughout the three months to provide guidance on 19AB exemptions and registration pathways, even for GPs that you source outside of our website. This ensures you have all the necessary support to successfully navigate the recruitment and registration process.

Next Steps

  1. Onboarding Call: We will arrange a 30-minute onboarding call with Martina Stanley or Monique Giron to discuss your specific needs and the best approach for positioning your vacancy. This session will leverage our expertise in GP market trends and remuneration to ensure your ad is both informative and persuasive. By the end of this call, we will have all the necessary information to draft a compelling job advertisement.
  2. Review and Approval of Job Advertisement: Following the onboarding call, we will send you a draft of the job ad for your review and feedback. Once approved, we aim to have the ad live on our website within three business days, maximising speed and efficiency.
  3. Screening and Referral Process: As applications are received, we will screen them according to your specified criteria and forward the most suitable candidates to you. You will then have the opportunity to engage directly with these candidates to progress through your recruitment process.  Some candidates may choose to ring you directly and discuss the role prior to sending their CV, once you receive their CV you can simply email it to our team for us to provide the screening checks.  If you recruit a GP as a result of this advertising there will be NO additional recruitment placement fees due.
