Are you an experienced GP with a interest in urgent care? We are seeking expressions of interest for a Urgent Care GP to join Urgent Care Centres across Melbourne’s southern and eastern suburbs.
These fully equipped centres offer flexible shifts, a supportive clinical team, and the opportunity to make a real impact providing timely care to patients who would otherwise present to hospital EDs.

About the Role
You will provide front-line care to patients triaged as suitable for Urgent Care services. Working closely with experienced nurses, you’ll assess and manage a wide range of presentations including minor injuries, infections, and acute illnesses.
You’ll be comfortable performing procedural work such as suturing and back slabs and acting promptly in any emergency situations or patient deteriorations. Accuracy and efficiency in documentation will also be key to ensuring continuity of care.
About You
- FRACGP
- Experience in Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine desirable
- Skilled in suturing, backslabs, wound management, and assessments
- Confident managing urgent presentations and referring appropriately to ED when required
- Committed to delivering safe, patient-centred care
