A new Women’s Health Hub is coming to Melbourne’s West, and Alecto is currently selecting GPs to join the team.

This state of the art, purpose-built clinic will have a female-focused GP service and provide specialist care. The Hub will transform medical care for women in the local area while offering GPs a unique platform to specialise and up-skill.

Women’s wisdom supporting women’s health

The Women’s Health Hub, scheduled to open in June, is the sister clinic to another thriving general medical centre on the same site. Designed as a destination for women’s health, the new clinic is connected to local partners including two nearby hospitals and a range of other co-located services.

This new clinic will provide women access to quality, affordable services, including within the specialist areas of sexual health, fertility, packaged maternity care, shared care and menopause care.

How Alecto can connect you

We’ve had the opportunity to be involved with this project since the planning and development stages, continuing right through to the opening in a few months’ time. Alecto is also responsible for coordinating the GP recruitment for the Women’s Health Hub.

We get to help with a wide variety of projects through our consulting and recruitment work, but this is by far the most exciting project we have worked on for a while.

If you’re a GP who’s passionate about women’s health and thrives in a team-based, collaborative setting, we want to hear from you. Successful applicants may act as a patient’s regular GP or be referred to by other GPs for specialised women’s healthcare.

Local partners include:

Mercy Health, St Vincent Private, North West Melbourne PHN, Western Health.
