This role would suit a motivated individual who thrives in a busy, team environment and has the tenacity for leading a multidisciplinary practice including GP’s, Allied Health practitioners, practice nurses and administrative staff.  This practice has a multigenerational patient base, having served the local community for decades and as such is embedded into the local community.

About The Role

  • Take on the senior leadership role within the practice – promoting a positive and efficient work environment and managing the day-to-day operations
  • Be in charge of financial management, operational management, and staff management
  • Oversee and deliver a high level of customer care and best practice
  • Maximising efficiencies in the practice
  • Work closely with management to ensure execution of the annual business plan, strategic goals, and budget of the practice
  • Coaching and training staff onsite and leading the recruitment process for new staff members
  • Drive continuous improvement within the team providing each employee the opportunity to succeed

Essential Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of patient billing systems and Medicare processes
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in General Practice, with a strong preference for previous management roles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with both staff and patients.
  • Understanding of business operations in a healthcare practice
  • Proficient in using medical practice management  and financial software
  • Available to work Full Time
