Frequently Asked Questions

Do we need to prepare anything beforehand?

Yes, we recommend gathering your Procedure Manual, Emergency Plan, and any other relevant core documents for review in advance

Can we split the onsite visit over more than one day?

Preferably not as this will run as a full mock accreditation so its best done on one day however we are happy to chat about any specific requirements.

Will we receive documentation templates?

Absolutely, the follow-up includes sharing template documents to help with ongoing compliance with accreditation standards for general practice

What if we find large gaps?

That’s the point, early detection. We’ll help you map out a plan to fix those gaps before your actual accreditation.

Do you offer this accreditation service outside Melbourne?

Yes. Onsite visits are available within an 80-kilometre radius of Melbourne. For practices outside this area, a small travel surcharge applies for visits elsewhere in Victoria (contact us for a quote). For clinics in other states, we offer an online-only assessment and are happy to discuss what this option would look like for your practice.

Is an online-only option as effective as an onsite visit?

An onsite mock assessment provides the most realistic experience. However, for interstate clinics, our online-only service still offers a thorough document review, guidance, gap analysis and a clear action plan for accreditation success. Contact us for more information.

How far in advance of our accreditation should we book?

We recommend booking 12 weeks before your planned accreditation date, giving your team enough time to address any gaps identified during the mock assessment however we understand sometimes timeframes are shorter.

How long does the full process take from start to finish?

The review, onsite visit and follow-up meeting are typically completed within one to two weeks, depending on your availability and how quickly documents can be provided.
