When I think back a few years and reflect on the purpose of opening Alecto, it brings a smile to my face. Strong and meaningful relationships and even on some occasions, lifelong friendships. We have worked hard to build and maintain strong relationships with all our practices and clients around Australia. When we match GPs to clinics, we not only look at GP’s preferences but also ensure that the personalities will match to create a successful and enjoyable practice. We like to think of ourselves as the ‘GP matchmakers’.
To all our GPs who have referred a GP, thank you! Your referral has not only allowed us to help a GP and clinic find a match but has also provided myself and my team a sense of appreciation. We have had several GPs that we work closely with who have provided us with many referrals and in return have been able to purchase items like bikes, washing machines, furniture etc!
Current Undersupply of quality GPs
Despite the serious misinformation currently in the media, we are at risk of a severe GP shortage. There are major shortages around Australia for appropriately qualified GPs.

If you refer a medical professional to us and we successfully place them in a vacancy with one of our clients, you will be rewarded:
- For a Permanent placement, the reward is a $500 gift certificate from a range of retailers OR the new Apple iPad with wifi.
